The end of WW2 and a Navy doctor is going home.

The doctor is heading home after 6 years in the navy. What is home going to be like and how will the locals react to him after such a long time away? The story is full of people we have met and know in our own lives, some good, some not so good.

Another great story from Patrick Taylor. He finds the most lovable characters and each book is filled with laughs. I always look forward to his newest tome. Keep writing Mr. Taylor.

A Great Homecoming Story

I enjoyed learning about about Fingal's homecoming. His books transport me to a place I yearn to be with people I'd love to have as neighbors. I've read every book and will continue to read Dr. Taylor's work as long as he writes.
